October Half Term

Some things to do this October Half Term in the North of England

Holker Hall has the following events on:-

HALLOWEEN FUN! 28 - 30th October

SPOOKY WALKS -Spooky Walks through the Parkland at 10.30am and 1.30pm. £3 per child. Limited places which need to be pre-booked. Why not come in fancy dress?
LANTERN COMPETITION - Bring your own lantern made from pumpkin, turnip or squash.
Or why not try a marrow this year? Judging will take place at 11.45am and 2.45pm with prizes for the best lanterns.
CRAFT ACTIVITIES - Colouring and puzzles will take place from 11.00am to 3.30pm
each day in the Education Room. -£1.50 per child. Booking not necessary.
SPOOKY TREATS - Why not try batwings with blood dip, swamp soup, worm burgers, spooky spider cakes or pumpkin cake all being served in the Courtyard Cafe?
FREE PARKING - CafĂ©, Food Hall and Gift Shop open 10.30am – 5.30pm. - Hall open 11.00am – 4.00pm, Gardens from 10.30am until dusk. - (Additional charge)

Blackpool Pleasure Beach hosts KYRAN BRACKEN'S ICE PARTY

Friday 23rd Oct to Saturday 31st Oct

Kyran Bracken’s Ice Party will be skating into The Arena, Pleasure Beach, Blackpool from 23rd to 31st October 2009, with matinee and evening performances promising a fantastic and spectacular ice skating show featuring some of the world’s best professional skaters. The cast will also be joined by professional solo singer and X Factor 2008 finalist Marisa Billitteri singing live.
